1975 EL CAMINO
Background
I purchased this El Camino randomly in around 2000 while riding down a street in the South End of Louisville. It was a hideous red and white paint job and needed a lot of work.
About
This is a 1975 Chevrolet El Camino Classic model. It came with the 350 V8 Engine and a Turbo 350 transmission. The car originally sold for about $4200 in 1975
Today
- The El Camino today is not the same car I bought in 2000.
- The paint scheme was changed to Black and Grey
- The engine was upgraded to the 400 aluminum Fast Burn engine with headers
- It now has the Turbo 400 transmission and a 1500 RPM stall converter
- The rear end is now a reduced ratio 9 Inch Ford
- The interior features leather bucket seats
- American Racing original Mag Wheels
